Danish letters æøå disapers in CSV export from Umbraco Forms
Hi
We are using Umbraco version 7.2.6 assembly: 1.0.5632.22681
We have a Umbraco form setup, and upon downloading/exporting a csv file from Umbraco and opening the csv file ind Excel, the danish letters øæå are turned into wierd caracters like à and ¥ etc.
My developer teels my it works fine in Numbers, Google Docs etc., but he can't make it work in Excel.
Through the import function in Excel, we can import the csv file and open it as UFT Unicode 8, but we would like to skip that step and be able to open the file directly in Excel with the correct danish characters ÆØÅ.
If you can give us as much info as possible it would be great then it will be easier for the developers to see if they can reproduce the issue, and then make a fix for it.
I hope that you can use the way you do it now until a possible fix will be out.
When you have created the issue could you please the add a link to it so people who comes across this thread can see there is an issue, they can vote up.

Anyone got an idea how to solve this?
Hi Allan,
Which version of Umbraco Forms are you using?
There have been fixed some characters encoding in export csv/excel headers in version 4.1.2.
Try to see this issue http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/CON-730 and the possible workaround.

Hi Dennis
It's version 4.1.4.
Hi Allan,
Could you please log the issue in here, http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/CON so we have it, and the issue can be fixed.
If you can give us as much info as possible it would be great then it will be easier for the developers to see if they can reproduce the issue, and then make a fix for it.
Try to see this documentation on how to create a good bug report. https://our.umbraco.org/contribute/report-an-issue-or-request-a-feature/.
I hope that you can use the way you do it now until a possible fix will be out.
