the richtext editor's strikethrough button won't place the 'del' tag into html. It'll show it striked but upon saving and publishing it is no longer there. Manually entering in the 'del' tag through the html button doesn't work either since as soon as you hit the update button it removes the formatting.
I assume you've experienced a bug in the umbraco v4.0.3. If you can repro this on a clean v4.0.3, I'd suggest you report this issue on Codeplex, so core team can have a look at it. Doing so makes sure this issue doesn't get lost. And the more votes, the more likely this issue will get resolved in a near future release.
