Should Source and Object return the same value when building property value converters for custom data types that have their value in JSON?
And the "post topic" buttons stays with the 3 dots... doesn't give any errors, but when looking at the response of the web api request I get the following error.

if yes then go to the Database table definition, they have limited "nvarchar" field in table "CMSPropertyData" to only 500 characters which is very very small size.
Cannot post "long" titles (on our.umbraco)
I was trying to post a question with title
And the "post topic" buttons stays with the 3 dots... doesn't give any errors, but when looking at the response of the web api request I get the following error.
I guess somewhere something is too long.
Hello Simone,
Are you using SSMS for CMS database.
if yes then go to the Database table definition, they have limited "nvarchar" field in table "CMSPropertyData" to only 500 characters which is very very small size.
Set "Nvarchar(500)" of type "Nvarchar(MAX)".
Hope it works for long title.
Best Regards,
Ronak Panchal.

Added as bug in issue tracker: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/OUR-382
is working on a reply...
