    Hi there. I'm getting the following error from the IIS when I try to download a .pdf served from Umbraco as a media-item.

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    This type of page is not served.

    Description: The type of page you have requested is not served because it has been explicitly forbidden.  The extension '.pdf' may be incorrect.   Please review the URL below and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    Requested URL: /media/41527/annonceblad_2010.pdf

     

    Do you guys have any idea why this is?

    Just based on the error message it appears to be an IIS issue rather than an umbraco-specific issue.

    A bit of google-ing makes me think something in your IIS's Application Extensions settings are incorrect.

    If you can't resolve it let us know more about your IIS server setup and configuration.
