Document Type Changeable from Content Node

While playing around with Umbraco, I ddnt' find any option for a changing document type for a content Node from the admin Interface.I would like to have this feature with a check box in the document type creation step so that it can be changed from the Content Node if opted without doing any manual update in the database.

I am not sure whether any options currently available in umbraco for doing this without manual database update.  This will help when we are creating a content structure with place holders in the initial phase of a website creation. Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks,

    Rajeev

    Rajeev,

Could you please post your ideas in the right forum, this one's for bugs on our, which yours isn't. Anyway, those ideas should go into Codeplex for other people to vote for it (altho I doubt this will ever make it in any future release)

    Cheers,

    /Dirk

Shannon said this might make it into 5.x so let's hope it :). Also switching documenttype parent or giving a documenttype multiple parents, but that should also be added as codeplex items.

Dirk, thank you for pointing out that I have posted this in the wrong forum. Apologies for posting this in the wrong forum as I thought this was for the umbraco feature request. I will take care of this in future.

One suggestion, could you integrate the Umbraco feature request and Voting with Our as a new feature/section. That will be easy for everyone.

Jeroen, that sounds great. Thank you for the update

    Thanks,

    Rajeev
