I could get 100 points for solving the question 'What is the current version of Umbraco' but only 1 point if somebody votes up a project i created.....
You don't get 100 points for an accepted answer, it is just listed at 100 so people can see with a quick view through what the "highest voted" answer is.
You do get more than 1 for an accepted answer, but not that much.

Don't think you get 100 points for a solution... It's just a marker that a post got a solution
For example: Daniel has posted the solution and only has 40 karma points...
