I saw a real nice blog by Niels Hartvig from march this year about locking and unlocking of content and media items saying it will be available in Concierge 1.2 by april: http://umbraco.org/blog/2009/3/26/lock-and-unlock-documents-and-media-with-concierge
However I only see a 1.1 version of concierge being available in my profile.
Is 1.2 still under development?

I don't believe Courier 1.2 is out yet. At least, I haven't seen it.
