    Why aren't we allowed to upload an Avatar image?

    I don't have Twitter, Gravatar or a Webcam...

    I you choose gravatar, it will generate one for you automatically.

    To upload your own image you have to use gravatar.

    Take a look at this post on how to use ist (pretty simple).
