My dream would come true if it didn't take 1-3 minutes to publish a page in Umbraco! Seriously, the performance is often very frustrating. And trying to figure out why is next to impossible.
@Robert why don't you open up a new topic for your slow publishing? Maybe that can be improved... it shouldn't take anything like that long! So start a topic and give some info about your site, server, etc. Be sure to mention the database and if you've got any packages or event handlers you've installed as those would be primary suspects.

Umbraco 4.1 will feature LINQ to umbraco, so you won't have to wait for v5.
