For content we have a great back office extension, Content Maintenance Dashboard:

It's a fantastic program, invaluable in my opinion, a huge contribution to the Umbraco community.
Is there are a program to do this w/the media library. The updates to the ML in 4.9 were great but don't include the functionality noted above.
