I guess the easy way to fix it would be to copy/paste the content, and then just link from the old page saying "Moved to here...". That way googlers won't be disappointed when they follow an old link.
But it might be nice with a "hide from navigation" option on the pages.
Move Wiki pages?
Possible suggestion for the wiki pages is to allow them to be moved (i.e. as parent/child structure).
For example:
I've created a new stub page for "Integrating 3rd-party components":
http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/how-tos/integration-with-third-party-components
... and would like the ELMAH integration wiki page to be it's child:
http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/how-tos/use-elmah-with-umbraco
Would one of the forum mods/admins be able to move it for me, please?
Many thanks, Lee.
Hi Lee,
The admin's (like me) don't have the ability to move Wiki posts only forum posts that have been posted into the wrong sections.
Cheers,
Chris
Sorry about that! :)
No problem Sebastiaan, it's just my OCD! ;-)
