I was wondering if there is any plans (or possibly packages) that allow for HTML5 picture tags (or srcset) to be added via rich text editor, defining multiple images from media library and their associated breakpoints for the same image element, allowing more control for specific images like infographics which may need mobile specific versions etc. without having to break out and create new doc type.

As stated this has come to mind following a few infographics where we needed specific versions to show depending on device, in this instance the variety of crop tools simply wouldn't suffice as the mobile version was a different image, not just a crop.

I realise the browser support for these elements is lacking and will likely mean it has not even been considered at this stage but this kind of feature would be very useful (admittedly in rare circumstances) and wondered if there has been thought about it or if anyone has found a useful solution that might help without creating new doc type?
