I would really like to see a way to either:

1. reference files/assets under the media section of umbraco by the directory path (ie. /media/images/logo.gif instead of /media/12345/logo.gif).  When I take a static site that has many images all under a /images folder, it is not easy to get them into umbraco and reference the files from inside umbraco while keeping the code similar (just using find/replace to change the paths).  You can't do this today, so typically you have to FTP the images folder up there, and thus manage images outside of umbraco.

OR

2.  Be able to create folder under the content section where multiple files, such as images, could easily be uploaded (or an internal FTP interface to the umbraco contect section).  Thus able to replicate an existing site's image structure using the content section instead of media section.

Obviously much easier to say than do, but I've seen many posts saying this is a drawback of umbraco.
