I've created a macro with several parameters and can add it to a RTE on a page. When I do, the property editor displays just as expected and I can enter the values. Everything good to this point.....
However, when I want to edit those property values, I can't seem to "select" the macro item in the RTE and have the property editor popup to change the values I initially set.
I've tried switching the RTE to source code and changed the values in the resulting markup, but when I hit save & publish, the changes I made to the markup aren't persisted.
How do I change macro parameter values in this scenario???
Have you tried clicking the embedded macro in the RTE, then clicking the add macro button in the toolbar? That should open the dialog to modify the parameters.
It's not very clear, and would make better sense to work the way you've tried.

Yes, Nathan, that works. Not very intuitive, but I'm glad there's a way. Thanks!!
