    Not able to render inline macro in RTE via SurfaceController

    Templates, (partial) views and macros
    Umbraco 7

    Hello,

    I am using umbraco 7+ with mvc application.

    If I load a node directly through its URL, the macro inside RTE renders well.

    But, when I load the same node, on a button click, which calls a controller and returns the same node in partial view - the macro fails to render with this error:

    'Cannot render a macro when there is no current PublishedContentRequest. '

    Is this similar to http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-6206 - if so, is there a workaround to this issue?
