XSLT not working in Umbraco 7

    Hi,

I just manually upgraded my Umbraco site from 4 to 7, but I have problem on XLST, it doesn't work on Umbraco 7.

I have a lot of XSLT macros so converting this to macro partials will take months.

Any ideas how to run XSLT from Umbraco 4 to 7?

    Thanks, Jorge

    Hi,

What version of v4 did you upgrade from?

There was some schema changes in V4 -> v4.1x -> 4.5 I think that broke lots of macros. You'd have to apply those changes.

Frustratingly the official documentation seems to have got lost in the our.Umbraco move?? https://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/xslt/45-xml-schema/xslt-examples-updated-to-new-schema/

    This might help

    https://our.umbraco.org/forum/developers/xslt/11227-New-Schema-Select-Node-by-Id

An automated tool (guessing this will run on v4.5 so do it as part of a stepped upgrade) http://www.feature-farm.com/Umbraco/XsltUpdater/

    Hi Steve,

I ugraded the Umbraco 4.7.1.1 to Umbraco 7.4.3, but xlst doesn't work so I was being force to convert them one by one into razor, but they are too many.

Do you think I need to tweak something? Thanks

    anyone?

One clue is I changed the simpliest macro I have, I rewrite the node to * and that works.

But not everything is simple, so I am looking for a fix even its a complex xslt. Thanks
