Downloaded and installed https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/pdf-thumbnail/ as a local package. It says it's v1.0.0 but the file says v0.9.9 so who knows? Installed in an Umb 7.5.6 site. Also downloaded and unzipped the Nuget package to get hold of the gsdll32.dll and gsdll64.dlls and drop them into the /bin folder as instructed. Then did a rebuild for good measure.
Given the top of the project page says: "Generate thumbnail for pdf files, thumbnail created on upload in media for first usage via helper" I was of the understanding that if I dropped a pdf file into a media folder, a graphic file would be generated in the same folder. However, no such file is generated.
Have I totally misunderstood how this is supposed to work? Other similar packages seem only to generate a graphic file on first call of the pdf from a view. That's no good to me as links to PDF's are being added into RTE's so that wouldn't work.
PDF Thumbnails Package
Hi,

Any advice appreciated.
