At the moment I can insert only one image into the content page. I need to insert another one but I can't see ant tool of adding another image to the content.

On the event details page there is an option to insert only one image. I would like to have an option where I can insert two or more images from media library or to inset an image within event description section.
From what I can tell. You are trying to upload multiple images into the content page.
You will need to modify/edit the DocumentType being used for that specific "content page". You should be able to modify the Property Editor for the Media Picker and edit its settings.
"There is a setting to enable multiple media items to be selected."

How are you inserting the image?
Are you using then Media Picker OR an RTE (WYSIWYG)?
