Hi there. I am working on a site where content is tutorials for C++ and C# among other stuff. I am using Ezsearch.

But suddenly I found out, that I cannot search for # or +, it returns nothing. So users can't search for "C#" or "C++". Kind of a problem, since the site has tutorials for these..

    What to do?

    the search link is:

    /search?type=bookclub&q=C%23

      • this is special characters, you should escape it, you can use built-in Examine function or escape in the raw query - https://lucene.apache.org/core/294/queryparsersyntax.html
