Can you elaborate a bit more? Are you trying to use an alternative template on a page that already has a template setup? A few screendumps could also be a huge help in order for us to understand your issue better and then be able to provide you with more concise and better support.
Template not working in microsite
Hi, im trying to create a microsite in my web with a new template but the browser is empty when I access the url.
Is there a way to enable the template or something??
If i set an older template works fine but not with the new one.

Have you assigned the template to the page in the Properties tab?
How did you create the new template?
Does your site use Webforms or MVC, because the location of the template might be an issue?
And what version of Umbraco are you on?
