I am using Umbraco v6.1.6
I am having a slight issue with the Blog I am using. In my document type for Blog I have a Post Date field which is using the Datepicker type.
If I create a new Blog Post and ignore the PostDate field and click publish the Blog Post will publish fine with no Date Folders i,e
https://domain.com/blog/this-is-the-blog-post-name.aspx

Is there anyway I can disable this from happening I have searched this forum and can't find anything.
Can anyone help me with this problem, I've been trying to fix this issue on and off for the past six months.

Are you using some blog package? You can use post save event for moving blogpost to needed place.
