Disable Automatic Creation of Date Folders On Blog Posts Umbraco v6.1.6

    I am using Umbraco v6.1.6

I am having a slight issue with the Blog I am using. In my document type for Blog I have a Post Date field which is using the Datepicker type.

If I create a new Blog Post and ignore the PostDate field and click publish the Blog Post will publish fine with no Date Folders i,e

But if I go back into the post and edit the Post Date for example I want to put this date back a year so it doesnt appear in my lastest blog post feed I will publish with the date folders of the date I have just chosen i.e

    https://domain.com/blog/2018/12/13/this-is-the-blog-post-name.aspx

Is there anyway I can disable this from happening I have searched this forum and can't find anything.

Can anyone help me with this problem, I've been trying to fix this issue on and off for the past six months.

    Thanks Barry

    Hi Barry

Are you using some blog package? You can use post save event for moving blogpost to needed place.

Hi Alex thanks for getting back to me. I am not sure if there is a package installed I no the document type is umbBlogPost and there is a load of XSLT files regarding the blog posts in the code base.
