Your uSkinned theme must be installed on a clean version of Umbraco with no previous site or content present. Content will probably need to be manually moved into your new site however if you have a large blog or news section you could use CMS Import to speed things up.

We've got a site, it was built in Umbraco 4.2, long before we found Uskinned! The site has been upgraded, now on version 7.12 of Umbraco.
But we'd looking at moving content over to uskinned as we like the approach they have taken.
We're wondering what the best approach is :-
install uskinned in the current site, change doctypes of content perhaps programmatically ?
or
start a new site, using a tool to export and re-import content into a new site ...
I just wondered if anyone else had done similar ?
