Need to hide folders from menu macro

hey i have some folders in my site directory that contains some polls

my page has a menu that contains a macro that shows the various pages - unfortunately it also picks out my "folders" that dont have any page content and only contain info for my polls on the page.

i know that you can hide pages - but simply cant figure it out ?

    folder structure

    Root
            Web

            Page 1
                  sub page 1
            Page 2
                  sub page 1
                  sub page 2
Poll       <--- this needs to be hidden from the menu macro
Poll       <--- this needs to be hidden from the menu macro
            page 3
            page 4
            page 5

hope anyone can help this poor newbie.

Are you using the Runway Menuscript?

In that case, you can make a new "generic property" called "Hide in menu" alias "umbracoNaviHide" (which is a true/false type")

Then you can mark this field, and i will get hidden in the menu.

If you are NOT using the Runway Menu, please let me know.

    Cheers
