I accidently created two templates with the same alias. Now I cannot delete or save either of them. Somewhere else on this forum I read that there is a workaround for this by deleting the template directly in SQL Server, but because of my bad experience lastly by changing something directly in the database I'd rather don't touch the database.
Does someone know another way for deleteling a duplicatie template, by not touching the database?
sorry to have bothered anyone, but I found the solution myself.
Apparently when trying to rename a duplicatie template, one gets an error message that the template couldn't be saved because of the duplicate template. But than afterwards it seemed that the alias name of the template was renamed indeed.
So by changing the alias names of my duplicate templates I was able to delete the duplicate templates.

I tryed the same changing alias and safe can not save or delete....this must be an old version of Umbraco I use Umbraco4 version 4.7.2.
HOW CAN I DELETE TEMPLATES OR SAVE THEM AGAIN!!!!
