Ultimate Picker AutoComplete fails to validate with mandatory = true
I have an Ultimate Picker datatype which works as expected except for when it is used in a document type and marked as "mandatory". If it's set to autocomplete, it always fails validation even if it contains a valid value. If it's set to a dropdown or something else, validation is accurate.
Umbraco 4.7 IIS7.5 ASP.NET 4.0/Integrated Pipeline.
Has anybody else run into this? I only found one reference to it prior to when the ultimate picker became part of the Umbraco install (and it stated that it had since been resolved).

Apparently not, because I just encountered this issue in Umbraco 6.1.6 :)
