    Creating regular .aspx pages on disk as part of the site

    If I create an .aspx file and try to request it I get a "Page not found" result. 

    How can I make Umbraco look for the page on disk after it didn't find the page in the content tree?

    Hi,

    You should try adding your page's path to the umbracoReservedUrls key in your web.config file, to force Umbraco to ignore it.
