    Tabular DataType

    hi .. i want to create new datatype .

    a tabular DataType so i can add\update\delete rows .

    as far as i know , there is no such as DataType in umbraco

    i got two questions :

    1. is there any existing way to do it , beside creating new DataType ?

    2. where is the best place to store this data (let's say XML) , i maybe still enjoing the umbraco capabilities such as versioning , distributing etc.???

    i just want to add , that i need to option to have this data to be common for all pages ...

    maybe this is another question ... where to store editable data which commom for  all data ...

    Hi gilpt,

    Have you seen the uComponents DataType Grid? Or my MultiType datatype? Both allow you to define the properties (columns) and then add as many rows as you like. I haven't used the datatype grid but it sounds like it may be what you're looking for.
