    Accidentally deleted a document type that is in use

    Templates and document types

    Hi,

    I'm fairly new to using Umbraco. Today I accidentally deleted the wrong document type. The one I deleted is used in a content file. Now I can't edit the content file. I get message "No document found with id ####"

    Is there any way to restore this without having to re-create all the pages that used that document type.

    Hi Vicki

    What you can do is try to resort it from your db server. Else well you will have to recreate it.

    Thanks for the reply.   Can you please also point me in the right direction to restore it from the db.
