    Common practices to start a portal

    Hi,

    I wonder what would be the best starting point to create a new portal. Is there any scaffolding baseline that includes required Document types and data types that commonly used for most portals?

    I know there are starter kits, but there are many of them and not sure which one should be used for my baseline.

    I have my master-pages ready to import them as templates.
