    New install (4.7) with business kit, can't create new content

    Templates and document types

    I've installed (for the first time) Umbraco, hosted under 4.0 and IIS 7+.

    When in content view, right clicking on a node and selecting "Create" gives me a window to enter a name and choose a document type.  However, no document type are shown in the option list - it's blank.

    I'm very new to Umbraco and would appreciate if someone could shed some light on what might be the issue here (or simply what I'm doing wrong or didn't do at all).

    Hi there....

    Welcome to the Umbraco Community......

    If am not mistaken when installing the Business Kit, you can actually create a new page when you right click on the Company News Node under the Content Section right?

    Anyway this quiet straight forward if its by selecting the Company News? If so what you can do is go to your Settings Section > Document Type > News Area.

    Under the News Area click on the Tab Structure and Check the News Article and Save. Now just go back to your content and try creat a new node.
