    Document type or object model

    Hey guys,

I'm working on a new project here with Umbraco 5. The goal of this is project is to create a small ecommerce platorm.

Beeing new with Umbraco, I have been able to create some document type attached to some template for some sections of my site. No problem there.

I'm now at point to introduce the concept of products and categories to my site. The thing is: I could create a product document type and a category document type and build a structure out of it. But would it be the right thing to do if my client have a catalog of 400 products? Is it ok to have 400 content page of products? Would that be to difficult to maintain?

And alternative solution would be to build some good old fashion MVC3 object model and build this logic myself. Would that be possible to add some custom section to the admin of Umbraco?

    Thank you for your time!
