    Stop Document Type Tab Inheritance

    Templates and document types

    Hi. 

    I have a "footer" tab on my Master document type.

    Is there a way to stop the inheritance onto the child document types.

    No, to my knowledge there is no conditional inheritance - the inheritors should either need all fields of the parent or they become a different thing.

    You can take a look at uHidesy, which doesn't really remove the tab but rather will hide it. (Like the name suggests!)
