    Newbie Template/View question (with uBlogsy)

    I've used Umbraco extensively, but always V4.x. I've just installed 6.1 with uBlogsy (running on Azure), and I can't work out what the deal is with the templates. I can see Umbraco is running off appropriately named Views, but all the templates appear empty when I select them in tree view.

    So my question is; can you no longer templates through the back office, or have I got something wrong in my install?

    Check if you set the default rendering engine to MVC in umbracoSettings.config.

    Maybe thats where the problem comes from.

    In generall you can create templates in 6.1. It depends if you have set the Webforms or Mvc rendering engine what Umbraco creates for you.

    Thanks David. That's done it. I did actually change this setting prior to posting, but it didn't seem to resolve it at the time. Perhaps it was my application pool recycle that kicked the setting in to action.
