    Search through custom document properties

    Hello!

I have a document type called "Journey" with 2 custom properties:

    • journey-type (Checkbox list)
    • journey-member-amount (Radiobutton list)

    For example:

    Name: Journey1
    Journey-Type: Canoe Camp
    Journey-Member-Amount: 15-20 Member

    or

    Name: Journey2
    Journey-Type: Tent Camp
    Journey-Member-Amount: 21-40  Member

Now, I want to give the website-visitor the possibility to search through the Journeys like:

"Show me all Journeys with the Journey-type tent camp and the member-amount 21-40"

    How can I do this??

    Thanks for your answers!!

    Christoph

Hi Christoph. It sounds like you might want to use Examine for creating custom indexes of content based on your criteria. From there, you can query your index based on a visitor's criteria. Peter Gregory wrote a good blog post on how to use Examine.
