    News & Events is okay in english and german but not in french

    PLEASE HELP

     

    I´m working on an international website for an danish company.

    I´m can not understand why the news and events is translated okay on our Engish and german sites, but on the french site it´s not translated - it´s still called news and events. I´ve allready installede the language packages.

     

    How to I change that ?

    On the french version homepage node make sure ou have the Managed Hostname and added french version to it.

    sorry i´m new to Umbraco - but every thing else is translated to french, ust not News And Events ?

    Hi Lasse,

    Under the settings section > Languages make sure you have French Language. Then under the content section where you have the home node for French > Right Click > Manage Hostname. 

    Then just set the Domain and Language.

    Sorry - but that did'nt help.

    The domains and the languages was allready selected. Everthing on my french site is translated to french - the only thing that are missing is the News and Events header on the frontpage.

    In your Dictionary Item Field under Settings can you make sure you have the translated content in it?
