    Template Id does not exist error

    I purposely deleted a template that we no longer need (or so I thought). The template was named Homepage. We had two templates of this name & I deleted one of them.
    When I preview the existing page using the Homepage template, the page is displayed properly.
    However, I get this error when running from Visual Studio 2013: 

    The template with Id 1072 does not exist, the page cannot render

     

    Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

    Hi Rich and welcome to our :)

    Have you changed your document types that used the deleted template to use another template that exists?

    What version of Umbraco are you using?
