I'm trying to rearrange the data types in a documenttype in umbraco administration, I drag them into the new position widthin tab, but when I save, all flields are at the original location, have anyone succeed?
I had this problem when i moved the data types from one tab to another, after settings the correct order id in the database i could re-arrange them again.

Which browser are you using?
It should work correctly in all modern browsers, there was a similar issue with one of the browsers in version 3 but that has been fixed in Version 4.
If it does the same in all browsers my guess is it might be a permissions issue for the script that is being called when you click the save button.
( I assume you are clicking the save button? )

In one of my earlier solutions, I had this problem in Internet Explorer, but it worked just fine in Firefox.

I'm using IE 8, and when I get the message that the documenttype has been saved.
I have done some tests and it seems that it works for some tabs, but not for all, in the same documenttype
is working on a reply...
