I have been trying to find a way to "nest" a node picker that allows you to choose a node, then opens up that node's properties and allows you to view and select from a checklist of that node's properties. I'm not sure if this exists or if there is just a better way that i'm not seeing. For example, I have a product, that product is available for multiple models. I would like to choose a variety of models. Each model has a list of years attached in properties that is selectable from the product node. So the work flow would be, create a product, choose available models, for each model choose available years. 

I hope this is a clear enough explanation. If not, please reply and I will try to explain further. I've been trying to tackle this problem for a while and the only way I see of doing this is a custom field of some sort which I have no idea how to build :X. I appreciate any pointers or assistance.
