I read a topic on this issue (see link below), but the workaround suggested is not working for me. I need to access the currentPage in other script then the one where RenderTemplete is used. Does someone have a solution for this bug/issue?
I am having somewhat the same issue. I wish to call some content from a certain node with a certain template, as additional content to the current page. But the result is that the current page "becomes" the node called in the RenderTemplate, only redered with the template assigned to current page.
The currentPage changed after calling umbraco.library:RenderTemplate($contentId)
