I am relatively new to Umbraco and I would like to know if it is possible to create more than one template for an administrator(different skins or may be different pages in each templates) and select that for creating cms sites?
Umbraco doesn't really have themes or Skins as such.
You can use starter kits to setup a site with a style in a similar way to a theme in other CMS's but as umbraco does not contain any document types out of the box, starter kits are really more of a blueprint as well as styling.
Are you looking for multiple sites from one install? You can setup multiple sites in a single cms in Umbraco and each can be configured to allow different document types within each.
You can then have templates available to each document type and even make the templates use different master pages.
A little custom code could even have get you a CMS that is "themeable" using a property editor and maybe switching the master template based on the theme...
It really depends how you want things to work and exactly what you need to achieve.
