Can I give default value to properties?

    Hi,

For example, I created a property  -robot for meta. Is there anyway that I can have a default value set (e.g. index, follow) ? So I don't need to add it on every page.

    Many Thanks

    Jerry

Do you need custom packages for this? when you insert any property you are able to use an alternative field, or value:

    Rik,

that's when you're inserting a value into a template, original question was about having a default value on document creation, which Morten's package does

Dirk: in the case of a robots tag that is added to the header, isn't the result the same with my solution ?

if you don't enter anything in the field it'll output "index, follow" as a standard value, and you have the possibility to override it?
