    Reorder properties of a documenttype isn't saved

    Templates and document types

    Hi,
    been searching for this strange problem and cannot find an answer.

    When drag and dropping a property to reorder it and click save nothing changes, the property jumps back to original position after save.

     

    I'm using Umbraco ver 4.0.3
    asp.net 3,5
    Windows 2003, IIS 6

    Tried this in both IE8 and Firefox 3.5.

    Any suggestions what might be wrong?

    Hi pikkenix,

    If you can exactly repro this on a clean install, I'd suggest to report this on Codeplex... Short term solution, find the sortOrder column in the database table (don't know the table name by heart) to sort the properties.

    Same problem on two different installs (one of them fresh install a couple days ago).

    Ok, will go through the DB, where to report this on codeplex?

    Properties does not sorted for tabs those are named not in english.

    To sort properties I renaming tab on english, then sorting properties and renaming tab back to original language.
