Can anyone tell me the best way to export document types and templates? I can envisage us using the same standard setup at the start of every new site we build, so to have to recreate every document type each time could be time consuming and liable to inconsistency.
How would one go about 'packaging them up' so we can just import our starting point for any future project?
go to the Developer-Sction -> Packages and right click "Created packages" to create a new one. Give it an apropriet name like "Standard Install Package". After that you edit the Settings on the first tab and on the scound tab you can select which DocTypes and such you would like to add.
When you publish this Package you get a zip File which you can import on the next installation over Developer -> Packages -> Install local Package.
