    Tilde (~) character in Templates

    We are running our site in Umbraco, using the files in Visual Studio 2008, and the thing won't build as it can't find the masterpages defined in the .master files. We added the ~ to the paths and this makes it build, but save the template in Umbraco and it removes the tilde character and then the build fails again.

    Is there a setting to stop Umbraco removing this?
