    Hi Johan

For e-commerce solutions based on Umbraco there are a few actually.

There is Merchello, which is open source and developed by Mindfly - You can read more about it here http://www.mindfly.com/work/merchello/ and download the package here http://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/merchello

Merchello is the new kid on the block and was launched last year I think.

I think uWebShop was recently open sourced but judging from the website it I'm a bit confused since it's still possible to buy a domain license however you can learn more about here http://uwebshop.com/

Then there is Tea Commerce, which you can read more about here http://www.teacommerce.net/en.aspx - Tea Commerce is a commercial package.

Also make sure to checkout the uCommerce platform, which you can learn more about here http://www.ucommerce.net/ - There is a free edition of uCommerce but it has some limited options.

    I hope this is useful.

    /Jan

    Hi Johan,

There are several ecommerce packages for Umbraco. Some of the packages are open source, and some of the needs a license, but you can contribute to the package because they have made the package open source. And some of the e-commerce packages have different versions of their product an free version pro version and so on.

Merchello is the newest e-commerce package for Umbraco, and was presented on this year Codegarden in Copenhagen, the package is build only for the Umbraco 7, and it open source and free to use it. You can find more about Merchello here: http://merchello.com/ The session about Merchello from this year Codegarden can you find here:http://stream.umbraco.org/video/9920903/merchello-open-source-ecommerce-for

The next e-commerce package for Umbraco could be uCommerce. uCommerce is not open source but they have different variants of their package depending on the clients needs. They have a free version a pro version and a enterprise version. You can read more about the uCommerce product here http://www.ucommerce.net/ and compare the different versions feature list here http://www.ucommerce.net/en/products.aspx#FeatureComparison

Next e-commerce option for Umbraco could be the Tea Commerce souliton. Tea Commerce is a dansih product like uCommerce, and you need a license, but the  product is open source so you can help contribute to the product https://github.com/TeaCommerce/Tea-Commerce-for-Umbraco. And the Tea Commerce has just released a version 3 of their product that includes a marketing module.

The last e-commerce package for Umbraco that I know is the uWebshop, this package is just become full open source, and therefor you can help to do this package even better by contributing to it, you can read more about the uWebshop here http://uwebshop.com/ and read more about the decision to make the project open source. http://blog.uwebshop.com/2014/11/28/the-store-is-open-source/

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis
