    Hi,

I see the starter kit solutions on GitHub. How to use them?

    Hi Biagio,

You can only download it and use. You can try setup it like site template or just look at source code.

Hi, thank for your reply. Do I need to use directly the solution if I want to use as site template? Do I want to use FANOE?

    Hi Biagio,

The GitHub repos for the starter kits are intended to be a reference point (if a developer wanted to dive deeper).

As Alex mentions, the easiest way to use a starter kit is to download it - either when you first install Umbraco, or via the back-office (in the Developer/Packages/Install Starter Kit section/tree).

You definitely don't need to use the GitHub repo (or Visual Studio) if you want to try out the Fanoe starter-kit - just install 7.2+ using the default settings :-)

    Cheers,
    - Lee

Hi, I know how to install starter kits from Umbraco backoffice, but FANOE is not there. I'm using U7.2.1.

    Hi Biagio,

Was the Fanoe option there when you first installed 7.2.1? You could try setting up a new install?

I'm not sure if there's a direct download to the package zip file itself.

    Cheers,
    - Lee

I found this URL a while ago for a direct download of the FANOE starter-kit package:

    http://our.umbraco.org/FileDownload?id=12838

    Does this help?

    Cheers,

    Thank you.

Why Is not into starter kit section?

Why are there not the source code into https://github.com/umbraco/Starterkits/tree/master/Fanoe ?

    Hi Biagio,

Unfortunately, I'm not the right person to ask - I don't work for Umbraco HQ or had any involvement with the development of the FANOE starter-kit.

Maybe raise a ticket on the issue tracker?

    Cheers,
