    Need locking system of the Content

    Developing Umbraco 7 packages

    Hi,

    I am working on the Umbraco 7.2.4.

    My client want the content check in and out functionality. That if someone is editing the content page than other user would not allowed to edit.

    For that I have searched and found one package Concierge.

    But it seems that currently it does not support Umbraco version 7.

    When this package will be available to Umbraco 7 ?

    So how could I achieve this functionality ?

    Can any one have idea about the same?

    Or any package that can provide this kind of functionality.

    Appreciate if any one could help.

    Hi Urvish,

    Currently there are no plans for upgrading Concierge to support Umbraco version 7, so it only supports version 4 and 6. I have seen there is a project called myLocks, and there have been some talk with the creator of this package if he will make support for Umbraco 7.     Maybe you could try ping the creator of the myLocks package on Twitter, to get an update on this, if you are on Twitter yourself.

    Ok I will ping the creator.

    This feature is good to have. So it would be better if Umbraco itself contains this feature in Version 8 or later :).
