There is a manual for editors back from version 4. I donĀ“t think there are some for version 6 or 7 yet. Maybe you could use the manaul for version 4 and make your own version for e.g version 7 of Umbraco. http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/editors-manual
Much ofthe principlesare still the samefrom version4 to7Umbracoback officehas a newdesign.
I have a client asking the same question. If you're not a multi-million dollar agency you're not going to produce you're own manual. One is needed for editors. And I'm not even going to mention the state of the confusing developers docs. Anyone interested in producing one? Upgrades shouldn't be released without documentation IMHO otherwise it's only of any use to those capable of messing about in the core.
Unfortunately the HQ has limited resources and therefore it's up to the community to collaborate on getting the current manual updated - The current one was written by the community and so can the new one be.
Unfortunately, it's not marked as compatible with V7 so it doesn't show up within the Umbraco Package Repository (like loads of packages) and when trying to install it, personally I get
Wrong Local header signature: 0x46445025
Exception Details: ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipException: Wrong Local header signature: 0x46445025
Any ideas how we get over this one as I'd love to install it.
@Craig remember it's just a pdf file, not a package you can install in Umbraco's backoffice. Just a manual for editors to use, when working with Umbraco :)
So I think I noted. So it shouldn't be in the package repository at all then, as it isn't an installable package. Can someone remove it so others don't waste their time? So much time gets wasted working with Umbraco as it is.
I think the issue was that the note is at the bottom of the full project page. You can't see it if you attempt to install it by clicking on the black pop-up box in Umbraco. So maybe best to put the warning at the very top ;)
Manual for editors
I have been googling around, but I have been unable to find a manual for the content editors. Is such documentation available?

Craig Evans has started an early initiative here http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/editors-manual/feedback/48699-Version-for-Belle - Feel free to join if you can find some spare time.
Just my 2 cents.

Further to this we've been working on a v7 editors manual for a little while now and have just released this as a new package.
You can grab it from here:

Umbraco V7.1.6

I'll put a note on the package descirption Craig but it's useful being on there for people to be able to find it.
