List View and Multi-Node Tree Picker .... Bug?

Hello ... I'm just playing around with the list view functionality in Umbraco 7, which is very useful.  However, when I combine this functionality with a Multi-Node Tree Picker (using xPath) ... my Multi-Node Tree Picker datatype will not list any nodes, the "List View" functionality seems to be stopping it .... when I disable the "List View" functionality my Multi-Node Tree Picker displays the nodes correctly.

Should this be a feature of the functionality?  These should be independant of each other surely?  Is this a bug I should be reporting?

I've looked through the bug reports about this and the developers claim this is a 'feature'. I am working on my own because I do not think they will be changing this.

Shame - in my view, this is clearly a bug.

This should be defined in the datatype settings! This "feature" makes the list view unusable.

Oh, this is unfortunate! I have just come across the same problem ... I also consider it to be a bug rather than a feature :-(

Yes Gordon...Really it is a bug.

We need to make a datatype for listview. But it is not a good way.

    how do you resolve it?

Hi Abdul, you could avoid the issue and use a nuPicker ?
