I Copied all the files from the zip manually and merged the web.config, the cropper datatype doesnt show up in the tree or when trying to create a new datatype. What am I missing?
You need to follow a few steps:
-Create a new datatype in the Data Types part of the Developer section
-Give it a name and select 'Image Cropper' in the property editor drop down
-Add a property to a document type and give it the type you created in the steps above
I've just upgraded to 7.1, no Cropper datatype visible

I'm having the same problem after upgrading to 7.1. I don't see the datatype in the dropdownlist.
I have done a IIS Reset after the upgrade and cleared all browser cache. Not seeing it yet
After another reset it worked :-) Strange behavior.
